Like other Jade Plants, Crassula ovata ‘Gollum’ stores water within its thick leaves, making it exceptionally drought tolerant and forgiving if you occasionally forget to water it. How to Care for Jade Plant ‘Gollum’
• Position in a very bright location. It will appreciate some direct sunlight, particularly once gradually accustomed to it.
• Allow the compost to dry thoroughly between waterings and water considerably less frequently during winter.
• Plant in a free-draining cactus or succulent compost and never allow the pot to sit in water.
• Feed occasionally during spring and summer with a suitable cactus or succulent fertiliser.
• Rotate the plant occasionally to encourage balanced, even growth.
• Avoid overwatering – Jade Plants store plenty of moisture in their fleshy leaves and prefer being kept on the drier side.
